Explore the walking paths and trails surrounding Erika's Place and the Twin Creeks Village community. Below are a few trails with access just minutes away from Erika's Place. Let's get the exploring started today!

Line Creek Trail - 8.4 miles

The multi-use trail sees frequent use by hikers and bicyclists. You may also see deer, squirrels, birds, and a variety of other wildlife. Line Creek Trail is an ideal way to check out Platte County’s scenery and wildlife. In any portion of the trail you’ll find a peaceful experience waiting for you. Follow the trail through wooded areas along the creek for a back-to-nature experience in the heart of the Northland.

Route 152 Trail - 6.8 miles

The trail is separated from the busy road by a wide median of trees, grass, and hills. Much of the pathway winds through residential neighborhoods. Route 152 Trail parallels MO 152. This is a popular trail for road biking, running, and walking, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash.

Platte Purchase Park Trail - 1.0 miles

Enjoy a nice & easy walk at Platte Purchase Park. Well-shaded in the evening. The trail surface is asphalt and typically at least 4 feet wide. There are benches and picnic tables along the route for resting. There is a playground with some wheelchair-accessible features.

Barry Platte Park Loop - 0.8 miles

Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 16 min to complete. This trail is great for road biking, running, and walking, and it's unlikely you'll encounter many other people while exploring. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash. Barry Platte Park is a beautiful park that offers a variety of recreational fields for baseball, softball, soccer, and sand volleyball.

Second Creek Trail - Complete in 2023

Just a few steps from Erika's Place! Erika's Place residents can easily access the new trail for a morning run or evening walk. This beautiful new section of the Second Creek Trail which connected the Woodhaven community to Twin Creeks Village was completed in October of 2023.
